…Stains from mud extremely easily. Probably not an issue on the all black pair, but with the grey I was shocked at the permanent markings mere mud left after just one casual walk. For a boot of this price, borderline unacceptable in all honesty. A casual walk to the pub across a muddy field should not make them look so old and so worn in, the membrane is definitely waterproof no doubt (On my second outing I walked ankle high through a flooded river road) but the outer coating seems to absorb stains like a sponge and there’s no way of completely getting it out. Plus points, they are definitely warm and I’m confident they will be great in the snow. They have solid ankle support for most terrain and great for packing in the long miles. Under foot extremely comfy and responsive. Overall pretty decent well thought out boot, but overpriced considering the issue mentioned. I’m not convinced they’ll last long either after continual usage, and this is from someone who always maintains kit and clothing.

Very bouncy!
Extremely comfortable, warm and snug fitted. I would recommend these for the colder, wetter and snowy conditions. However, if you’re more of a rugged, muddy terrain hiker I’d suggest another option. Great for light hikes though.
